We are excited to invite our community to a special evening focused on literacy, family engagement, and student joy. Reading Under the Lights will be held on Thursday, May 14, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Red Rider Stadium for students in grades K–4 and their families.
This event is designed to create a fun, relaxed atmosphere where children can build a love of reading and families can enjoy time together. There is something powerful about bringing books, families, and the community together in a unique setting like our stadium, and we look forward to a memorable evening for our students.
To make this event a success, we are looking for volunteers to help in various ways, including setting up, tearing down, reading with students, helping with crafts, assisting at activity stations, welcoming families, and supporting throughout the event.
The Orrville Public Library, Orrville City Schools, and the Orrville Area United Way are hosting Reading Under the Lights in partnership. We are grateful for the strong community support that helps create opportunities like these for our children.
If you are interested in volunteering, please use the QR code on the flyer to sign up. We would love to have you join us in making the event a special night for our students and families.
