March Third Grade Citizen of the Month

Marli Beichler, a Third-Grade student at Orrville Elementary, was selected as Citizen of the Month. She is the daughter of Joel and Amber. Marli is being recognized by the Good Citizen program to acknowledge that good character at school also makes a good citizen for the City of Orrville.

Mayor Plybon and Orrville Police Department Chief Seiler recognized Marli in her classroom with OES Principal Mrs. Millsaps, Assistant Principal Miss Swejk, and Teacher, Mrs. Hochstetler on March 28, 2024.

Mayor Plybon and Chief Seiler expressed admiration for Marli’s good character and thanked her for being a good Orrville citizen. Mayor Plybon presented Marli with a special certificate as her classmates clapped to congratulate her.

An Orrville Elementary Citizen of the Month sign was also given to Marli and her parents to be placed in their yard. It was a great day for her!

Mrs. Hochstetler nominated Marli by saying, “Marli is kindhearted and really cares about those around her.  She steps in and helps when others are in need, whether it is finding the page number or cleaning up a mess.  Marli helps without any complaint or asking for any recognition.
Marli is very responsible and is a good role model for those around her.  She always has her work in on time and uses her time wisely during class.
Marli shows good character each day, displaying all the qualities a Good Character Kid should have. I am proud to have Marli in my class!”

Congratulations to Marli for being selected as a Citizen of the Month at Orrville Elementary School!
