March First Grade Citizen of the Month

Addilyn McMorrow, a First Grade student at Orrville Elementary, was selected as Citizen of the Month. She is the daughter of Tony and Lindsay. Addilyn is being recognized for the Good Citizen program to acknowledge that good character at school also makes a good citizen for the City of Orrville.

Mayor Plybon and Orrville Police Department Chief Seiler recognized Addilyn in her classroom with OES Principal Mrs. Millsaps, Assistant Principal Miss Swejk, and Teacher, Mrs. Caskey, on March 28, 2024.

Mayor Plybon and Chief Seiler expressed admiration for Addilyn’s good character and thanked her for being a good Orrville citizen. Mayor Plybon presented Addilyn with a special certificate as her classmates clapped to congratulate her.

An Orrville Elementary Citizen of the Month sign was also given to Addilyn and her parents to be placed in their yard. It was a great day for her!

Mrs. Caskey nominated Addilyn by saying, “Addilyn consistently demonstrates outstanding citizenship qualities in our classroom.
She is always respectful, kind, and considerate towards classmates and teachers. Addi can be trusted to follow classroom rules and routines, setting a wonderful example for peers.  She demonstrates strong leadership qualities by being a role model for classmates.
