First Graders from Mrs. Howells's, Mrs. Wortman's, and Ms. Deibel's classes presented their character and setting projects at the Orrville School Board on Thursday, October 19th. Students were asked to bring in a favorite book from home. They were given the opportunity to choose to do a poster or a diorama to depict the characters and settings of their book. Finally, they used their language arts skills to write a few sentences about the character and the setting. They did a wonderful job. The teachers would like to thank the students and the parents for taking time out of their evening to demonstrate their skills. Way to go first graders!
