Sweet Scientific Method

Miss Eyler's class completed a candy corn experiment where students had to move through the process of the scientific method and see what type of liquid causes candy corn to dissolve. Students had to create a hypothesis before completing the experiment to see the comparison between their hypothesis and the conclusion/results. The liquids were water, white vinegar, and oil. The class learned that there are positive and negative molecules in the water and white vinegar that created a reaction, where the candy corn coating and food coloring dissolved more and more throughout 20 minutes.
